Day 1: Kakheti
After breakfast, you will go to the beautiful region of Georgia, Kakheti, where you will spend two wonderful days. It is in this region that the Georgian wine festival takes place - Rtveli!
The first stop is the Bodbe Monastery, on the territory of which there is a temple and the tomb of St. Nino, an enlightener of Georgia. If you wish, you can go down the path, consisting of more than 600 steps, to the miraculous spring of St. Nino to drink or dip in the holy water.
Believers from all over the world come to this place to be cured of diseases.
Then visit Signagi-city of love. You will walk along the ancient fortress walls with towers and walk along the center of the city, where the registry office is located, which operates around the clock every day.
Then you continue on to Veliscikhe, where you can visit the Numisi Museum.
During the inspection of the museum you will learn about the local winemaking traditions, varieties and wine storage. Then according to the program you will have a culinary master class.
At the culinary master class, you will be taught how to cook the main dishes of Georgian cuisine: khachapuri, khinkali, and even Georgian “shoti” bread in a special “tonne” oven. And after the master class - there will be a lunch and wine tasting, where you will taste 2 types of local wine and excellent chacha.
Then you check into the Twins wine cellar hotel.
Here you will have to wait for the real Georgian feast!
Day 2: Kakheti
After breakfast, you will find the most interesting, Rtveli holiday: you will collect the grapes in special baskets and put them into a large vat, and then trample the grapes with your feet. You will become a real winemakers. During the holiday you will have a professional photo shoot, after which you will receive unique and stylish photos.
Everything will end with a festive dinner.
Departure from the hotel.
We continue our journey through Kakheti. You will go to the village Tsinandali, where the tour of the estate of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze will take place. Here we will taste the wine in the cellars of the manor. You will also come to Telavi, famous for the film Mimino.
